This challenge was to be inspired by Lang Calendars. I chose this one immediately to be My Inspiration because its still so danged cold around here!! (It was 5* this morning at 11:00).
I stamped the image in versamark and used white embossing powder, then I subtly colored the snowman's scarf, twigs and a little bit of him around the edges. I wanted to keep it predominantly red instead of carbon copy the calendar page.
I matted thinly on white then riding hood again, popping up on dimensionals.
Base is riding hood with saffron 'BG' panel that I stamped with snowflake from SnowBurst set in riding hood red. I added "ribbon" strips of red gingham dp up and down then added a little strip of riding hood ribbon.
Finished off by adding sentiment on white, matted in red and adding some chunky stickles to the image panel and red stickles partway around the sentiment panel.
This was a quickie card - I love those calendars ... May be back for some more.
Thanks a bunch for looking. Let me know what you think.
